Net Entertainment Signs New Content Supply Deal
The Swedish online casino game developer and provider Net Entertainment has signed a content supply and delivery deal with the Spanish casino operator CODERE, who has a significant presence in the online casino market in Spain, Italy and Latin America.
The licensing agreement which has been signed by the pair will initially see Net Entertainment deliver a range of their gaming content to CODERE’s online Spanish casino, which is expected to include slots titles which feature third party licensed content from big name entertainment entities such as 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios.
This move into the online casino market in Spain is part of Net Entertainment’s overall expansion strategy, with the Swedish provider currently in the process of applying for official licensing from the Spanish government.
With official licensing expected to be granted at some stage this year, further incursion into the Spanish online gaming market is anticipated from Net Entertainment as they seek to expand their influence and promote their products.
Comment From Net Entertainment
Enrico Bradamante, who acts in the positions of Managing Director of NetEnt Malta Ltd and Chief of European Market Operations at Net Entertainment, has stated NetEnt’s satisfaction at being able to partner with CODERE and to be able to supply the Spanish operator with a host of NetEnt online casino titles.
Mr Bradamante also mentioned that Net Entertainment sees CODERE as an ideal commercial partner for this excursion into the Spanish market, which is a regional market that NetEnt has identified as a target for future potential commercial expansion.
Comment From CODERE
Ángel Fernández, who acts in the position of Marketing Manager at CODERE Apuestas, has stated that CODERE views this latest commercial agreement with Net Entertainment as part of a wider push to sustain and increase satisfaction amongst its existing customer base, and noted that CODERE believes that the addition of the new Net Entertainment content will be of assistance in achieving this stated goal.
Historically CODERE has been a land based gambling operation and they have recently been undertaking a switch to an online operating environment, which is part of the reason why they are now acquiring new gaming content that they can make available to new and existing customers.
