IGT Pays Out Powerbucks Jackpot/Secures Slots Delivery Deal
The United States casino game supplier IGT has announced that it has paid out a one million dollar Jackpot for the first time though its Powerbucks slots feature.
The Powerbucks feature is an add-on that IGT are able to apply to a range of its slots titles throughout a number of U.S. gambling jurisdictions, including Deadwood, Nevada, New Jersey and South Dakota, that allows for participating casino’s to link pre-determined games and machines to form progressive winnings pools.
The lucky gamer who was able to unlock the Powerbucks Jackpot was playing on the IGT slot Ghostbusters Who Ya Gonna Call? at the time of their life changing win, at Paris Las Vegas casino, with a stake of only $1.50.

IGT Secures Slots And System Delivery Deal

IGT has just secured a content and system delivery deal which will see them install over 500 IGT branded slots machines and their sbX Floor Manager casino gaming solution to a new casino that is about to open in The Bahamas.
The new casino, which will be located in Nassau, The Bahamas, will be known as the Baha Mar, and will be approximately 100,000 square feet in size.
The casino will feature a dedicated slots floor that will be comprised of nearly 50% of IGT branded gaming machines, as well as the aforementioned sbX Floor Manager casino game management system, to help its operators provide the best experience to both its players and its owners.
Tim Shortall, who acts in the position of IGT Vice President of Eastern Region Sales, has announced IGT’s pleasure at being able to be part of the Baha Mar, Bahamas casino project.
