Cute and Fluffy is a Playtech game that is themed around two of the best things in the world, puppies and kittens. Both are described with the words used in the title and the vast majority of the planet’s population will go awww when they see one, or at least will be able to enjoy their presence. The game uses quite a bit of pink as well in it, proof that the ladies are the slot’s main target. The rest of the graphics revolve around the two pets and the various toys they will prefer or foods that they will eat.
All the action provided by Cute and Fluffy takes place on 25 paylines, spread on 5 reels. The Collective Bonus is a big part of the feature list, the other more common ones being the scatter and the wild. A $25,000 top payout is the most attractive part of the paytable.
Features of Cute and Fluffy
Among the great features provided inside, my favorite would be the Collective Bonus, with its free spins and multipliers, but you will also get stacked wilds and scatter symbols from it.
The Puppy Wild is a stacked symbol, allowed to appear on all the reels of the game. When it appears, it can occupy 1 to 3 positions on that reel, with the chance of it forming a combination being very good if that happens. Its powers of substitution allow it to help you out, but only if a regular symbol is involved (doesn’t work with bonus or scatter symbols). The same stacked wild can form combinations which give you top prizes of up to 10,000x, and presumably you can get multiple top jackpots since the stacked wild makes it possible for more than one combo to form up.
The Kitten Scatter is also important, giving away up to 500 times the bet value, so a total prize that can be even better than the one offered by the Puppy Wild. You need five Kittens to get the biggest prize, with four of them giving you only 50x and three giving you 10x.
Collective Bonus Feature
Each of the five reels has a food bowl at the bottom. In them, you will collect the Treat Bones that appear on the reels. Once you manage to collect four Bones from the same reel, a Collective Bonus feature starts up. You first get a small prize, the equivalent of 4x the bet. Next, you are rewarded with 5 free spins and with multipliers of x2.
The game also saves your progress, so you can come back later and you still have the bones you collected so far. Each bone that appears during free spins will get you an additional 5 free spins and the same x2 multiplier for them.
Betting options and jackpots
The full betting range is from $0.01 to $62.50. The coins have a short range, the maximum being at $0.25, while the minimum at $0.01. Up to 10 coins are usable for each line, with the 25 lines accepting up to 250 coins total.

Design and symbols
It’s hard not to love a game like this, though the pink colors used everywhere does make it easier for a man to dislike it. The puppy and the kitten make up for it though, being both cute enough to make you spin the reels at least a few times, especially if you’re a fan of animals. The cute factor is visible in the other symbols as well, even when the pets don’t appear in them. The background picture gives us a pink rug, with balls of yarn, perfect toys for a kitten.
